"I definitely go to the lighthouses in the places we visit. I saw this place when we stayed in Assos. It wasn't allowed inside so I took photos from the outside. The weather was overcast and blowing. By the way, Google Maps does not show the location of this lighthouse, the place it shows takes you to Ayvacık road, do not go..... There is a radar tower right next to the lighthouse, you just have to follow it, have a nice trip, happy holidays, let's keep our environment clean ;)"

2008: The General Directorate of Coastal Safety opened a tender for the lease of the Sivrice Lighthouse. Yücel Sayman, a lawyer and author who has served three times as president of the Istanbul Bar Association, participated in the tender. He had previously operated the pre-conversion Tünel Pasajı in Beyoğlu, owned the famous KaVe cafe inside, and is now the founder and director of Kameleon Istanbul, a store with custom-designed items, Artrium, a gallery with valuable antiques, and Bakkal shops on Müellif Street near the tunnel, and his wife, Hacer Sayman, restored the lighthouse. Now, the Sivrice Lighthouse has become a library, the world's first and only lighthouse library, housing hundreds of books, files, stamps, and other objects."
