"Located near Ertuğrul Bay. The monuments beautifully tell the story of Sergeant Yahya."

"The monumental resting place of the brave heroes of the 26. Alay division led by Yavuz Çavuş whom records had it that he swore to either die at the battlefield or never return home/village because the defeat of the Ottoman soldiers in the Balkan war resulted in balkan soldiers defiling and raping their women and as such when he returned back to his village, he never set out again because of the shame and failure to protect the dignity of the Turkish women. So when Çanakkale was threatened, he went and had his name enlisted in the army. Today he and all our other martyrs are very well remembered for their bravery and patriotism."
