Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Camel Rock's spectacular natural beauty and its suitability for photography, especially during sunset. The thrill of sandboarding and dune bashing adds an adventurous element. However, some find the desert conditions challenging, with strong winds and sandy terrain requiring preparation.

"Had a great time at Camel Rock sliding down the dunes on a sand board (?snow board?). Plenty of laughs and we learned about the shifting desert sands which made climbing back up so difficult; and my shoes were full of red sand!"

"Just spectacular!! 💥

Superb location for photography.
We drove quite a bit into the desert without a 4x4 following the tracks of others.
From where we parked, it was quite a rough walk on the sand dunes. We finished the 2 litre water, between the 2 of us. Came in time to catch the sun set.

Should have brought a scarf for face and nose cover - the wind was blowing the whole time and the air was sandy."

"Natural limestone rock in the shape of camel. Located in the red desert of maliha, sharjah.
Earlier the entrance was open. Now its a protected area under Maliha archeological site. But the entry is still open till may 2025.
In future the entry might be restricted."
