What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Shees Park is widely praised as a beautiful, well-maintained, and family-friendly destination offering a peaceful escape with stunning mountain views. Visitors appreciate the ample greenery, clean facilities, and affordable entry for children, though some note the cost of on-site dining and the need for coins for parking.
"Shees Park is a beautiful destination that combines nature, comfort, and family-friendly activities, making it one of the most enjoyable places to visit in the region. I recently went there with my kids, and the overall experience was memorable from start to finish.
The first thing to note is that there is paid parking and a paid entrance fee for adults. However, children under 12 years old can enter free of charge, which makes it an affordable outing for families. The ticket cost is reasonable, especially considering the facilities, cleanliness, and the effort that has gone into maintaining such a large and green space.
The park is extremely spacious and well designed. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by wide walkways, beautifully landscaped areas, and plenty of greenery. It feels refreshing to walk around and enjoy the open space, especially for kids who love running and playing in wide, safe areas. The management has done a great job keeping everything neat and organized, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
One of the highlights is the abundance of greenery all around. The grass, trees, and well-maintained plants create a relaxing atmosphere. It almost feels like stepping into an oasis surrounded by mountains. This balance of natural beauty and modern facilities makes Shees Park unique compared to many other parks in the UAE.
For families with children, this place is a blessing. There are safe walking paths and large areas where kids can move around freely. Since the park is big, it never feels overcrowded, even when many visitors are present. Parents can relax while children explore, which adds to the overall enjoyment. The environment feels calm, safe, and family-oriented.
Another advantage is the variety of seating areas spread across the park. There are plenty of benches and shaded spots where you can sit, rest, or even enjoy a picnic. The facilities are clean and well-kept, including the washrooms, which is a very important point for families with young kids.
The park also offers a chance to enjoy nature in a structured way. The mountain backdrop adds beauty to the views, and the air feels fresher compared to the city. Many visitors bring cameras because the scenery is picture-perfect. For those who enjoy walking, there are pathways that allow you to explore comfortably. It’s the kind of place where you can spend several hours without realizing how quickly the time passes.
Overall, Shees Park is a wonderful spot for families, groups, and even solo visitors looking for peace and natural beauty. The small entrance and parking fees are worth it because of the excellent maintenance and the relaxing environment you get in return. It’s an ideal place to spend a weekend morning or evening, especially if you want your kids to enjoy outdoor time away from the usual malls or indoor play areas.
In short, Shees Park offers a peaceful, spacious, and green escape where both adults and kids can enjoy themselves. With its well-maintained facilities, family-friendly policies like free entry for children under 12, and its natural beauty, it’s a destination I would highly recommend to anyone visiting or living nearby."

"The environment is only small and totally man made. Saying that the young man on the ticket booth was excellent in helping me with the fee fir the car park, you need as a tourist to have 5 Dirham for the machine in coins to pay for parking as otherwise it is via an app. Although the place is small it us excellently kept and for the cost of £1 it's worth a visit."
