Visitors often praise Alexandra Palace for its stunning panoramic views of London and the expansive, beautiful park grounds. The palace itself is admired for its architecture and event facilities, though some find the acoustics for concerts to be less than ideal. Navigating the steep hill is a common point of discussion, with many recommending bus transport for ease.
"What a magical experience visiting Alexandra Park at night! The views of the London skyline are absolutely breathtaking. With the city lights twinkling and the iconic landmarks lit up, it's a truly mesmerizing sight. The peaceful atmosphere at night is a perfect contrast to the city's hustle and bustle. The park itself is beautifully maintained, and even in the dark, you can appreciate the scale and beauty of the space. Whether you're a local or a tourist, I highly recommend coming here after sunset. It’s an unforgettable way to see London."

"Great park to visit and spend a whole relaxing day. Nice little café inside Allypally, a big pub which does sourdough pizza 🍕 lots of history of the place. On Sunday mornings it has a farmers market, it’s also a big sports and entertainment venue. Almost forgot to tell you about the amazing ice rink. On busy days reservation is required."

"Absolutely love this venue! The building is stunning, full of history, and the views over London from the terrace are unbeatable—especially at sunset. I’ve been here for concerts and festivals, and the atmosphere is always electric. The main hall is spacious, and the sound quality has been great at the gigs I’ve attended.
There’s a good range of food and drink options, plus a pub and café for a pre-show bite. The park and boating lake are perfect for a stroll before or after events, and there’s even an ice rink for something different.
Getting here can be a bit of a trek compared to central London venues, but the Overground and shuttle buses make it manageable. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the whole place feels welcoming."
