Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the British Library for its free entry and the awe-inspiring 'Treasures' exhibition, which houses priceless historical artifacts. Many appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity to study in its grand spaces. However, some find the inability to browse most book collections limiting, and accessing reading rooms requires advance planning.

"I really enjoyed myself, the exhibitions open are quite rich and the listening station is really fun too. It has reading rooms for floors so most of the worth is downstairs, has a gift shop as well."

Clara Jack

"I came here today after almost a 50 year gap. What a wonderful experience to be back. I got a reader's card and went to the Science Reading Room.
I was not amazed by the huge number of people with laptops, but I was very delighted to see a few readers with a book!
The Library has a vast area for free study. Also you get food and drink easily! There are on many occasions free exhibitions.
This is a wonderful place to escape to for a day!"

Michael Pozzi

"Quite nice actually !!

Good to study and do some research, sometimes they have events so it might be crowded.

There is nice small code ship and restaurant inside the library.

There is lockers in lower ground flood. You can set your own password and leave your stuff inside there . However lockers are not big so for big suitcase you might need to ask.
There were staff there you can leave some of your luggage’s with them. However they don’t want you to leave the library. If you are leaving you need to take your stuff with you.

Overall not bad , security at the main entrance. Checking bags etc"
