Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Antrim Hills Way for its stunning, expansive views of the coast and countryside, with some even spotting Scotland on clear days. The challenging nature of the walks is often cited as rewarding, though the presence of sheep and their droppings requires sturdy footwear. Be prepared for unpredictable weather, especially strong winds.

"If you go on a nice dry day this is a brilliant walk across some big hills with stunning views across the sea and vast countryside. Strong comfortable footwear is highly recommended.

From the headless cross carpark to the village of Glenarm is approximately 8miles.

Not an easy or quick walk but definitely worth doing.

Enjoy."

"Nice hiking place. In clear day, you can see Scotland on the other side of Irish channel. Beautiful sight of mountain and sea. Sometimes you can walk by the sheep. The only thing is, too much sheep’s dropping. It takes time to wash it before getting on the car. Do check the weather before going, especially the wind. The strong wind makes it much colder on the mountain route. Don’t forget to bring water to wash your boots. Notice that the fence do has electrical warnings. So keep safe and don’t touch the fence wire."

"Lovely wee stop view point to stretch your legs, or a picnic. Litter bin provided but best to bring rubbish home as it can be quite windy. Game of thrones had a scene filmed from here to"
