What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Arbury Hall as a hidden gem with spectacular Gothic Revival interiors and beautiful gardens. The guided tours are a highlight, with guides bringing history to life. The tea room's homemade cakes and scones are also a popular draw. The main drawback is the very limited opening schedule, requiring careful planning.
"Visit was way above my expectations. Property is well kept, the tour resumes history highlighting the main facts related to its construction/ owners.Timing on each room is great and the selected sample of rooms is also very representative of what is said. Gardens are really beautiful. We took total 50min on the house tour + 1h for the garden, with no rush and taking many pictures of the garden. Tea house when leaving was a great plus, there was a young lady with a flower on her hair who was soooo kind and welcoming, also scone + cake + tea are definitely between the best ones I've had - fluffy, not too sweet, sugar is quite balanced! So worth the visit even paying for the tickets :)"

"An absolute gem on the outskirts of Nuneaton. Only open on Bank holidays I understand. The house and gardens are spectacular. Well worth a visit."

"This is an Elizabethan house near Nuneaton which was altered in the 18th century and now has probably the best Gothick interiors in England. It's usually only open for Bank Holidays and the house is guided tours only but the guide I had (Sheila) was excellent and really brought the place to life. The gardens are lovely. I really enjoyed my visit and would strongly recommend it."
