"I had the BEST DAY OUT today. I attended the Georgian Festival and they had a Mock Trial where ticket holders can dress up and take part in real court cases from back in the day. One lady kept saying see only attended the mock trial because she wanted to go to the "hanging" afterwards 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I had such a blast!!! This town and its people went all out to submerge you in the theme. Kids were dressed up as street rats with their dirty faces (soo adorable).
There was also a VERY talented man who cut out my silhouette with a pair of scissors within minutes, and doing an excellent job at it.
The local stitching shop also came up with a great idea, to create a communal embroidery project...so i added my cross to it too.
There were LOADS of food stalls and i had my share of roasted chestnuts and bacon &cheese soda bread (fresh off the grill..yummy too).
A very BIG thank you to those who planned and participated to make this day a highlight in my life!!!! Well done!!!!!"
