What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Exmoor Pony Centre for its dedicated and knowledgeable staff, who go above and beyond to educate and welcome guests. The well-cared-for ponies and the beautiful, albeit remote, setting are frequently highlighted as major draws, making it a memorable experience for families and animal lovers alike.
"This is a wonderful place. Lovely staff, that are very helpful, caring and knowledgeable.
I took my wife, and Mother there yesterday.
They were given a tour of the stables, and were able to meet some of the lovely residents 🐎 🐴This was all free. They made a donation, which goes towards the up keep.
The gift shop is great too, and not too pricey.
We would definitely recommend giving this place a visit 👍☺️"

"Great experience, the staff go beyond and above to teach and make you feel welcome. We turned up early and sat in picnic area for lunch and had a look inside Greenn House where you can use toilet, look at history and information and eat picnic indoors. We booked a riding and grooming session where my daughters learned to tack up and groom before a ride around the lanes and fields at the centre. Very pretty area, location is quite remote. If you are looking to learn a bit about the Exmoor ponies, get close to them and ride, then this is a great day out, and will be a memorable family day for families, the cost wasn't over rated and what you pay goes to help the centre keep going."
