"Gorgeous garden, looking great on a sunny August morning. Free entry and parking nearby for a pound. Lovely place for a wander, highly recommend."

"The gardens tour was brilliant and interesting for both gardeners and non-gardeners alike. I don't like or do any gardening, and know little about horticulture, but our tour guide Clive was so knowledgeable and experienced that he was able to make the talk of interest to everyone present (and indeed some of the other tour attendees were definitely horticulturalists).
There were only 10 of us (I think that is the maximum), so we could all hear what Clive was saying and the group was small enough for us to be able to make comments or ask questions as we went round.
We visited different parts of the fabulous walled garden - the most well-known one - but also other gardens within the Bishop's Palace site, including the Faith Garden and Paradise Garden. Clive expertly explained the background and some plants, flowers and trees in all of them.
Highly recommended. It's a shame that the tours finish for this year at the end of October."
