Dog friendly 3.5 mile walk from Bakewell, Peak District. Route at the end of the video 🗺️ There are no stiles on this walk, just gates. Includes a lovely cafe stop at Hassop Station Cafe which i’d highly recommend! *edit Bakewell is a town just FYI. I call it a village in this edit but that’s a mistake on my behalf! Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Bakewell Monday Market for its extensive variety of stalls, friendly traders, and vibrant atmosphere. Many appreciate the reasonable prices and the opportunity to find unique items. While popular, the market is generally well-managed, though it can get busy.

"This sprawling weekly market stretches along two streets in the centre of Bakewell every Monday between 9am and 4pm. I came here on a coach trip, and soon realised how popular it is, because it was packed with both locals and tourists. It was easy to get to from the car and coach park where I was dropped off - just a couple of minutes walk across the Weir Footbridge. A fantastic variety of stalls: everything from clothing, jewellery, and leather goods to household linens, rugs, hardware, antiques, flowers and plants, and much more. There were also some good food stalls, and stands where you could get coffee and street snacks. The traders were good-humoured and friendly, and buskers, including a Scottish piper, added to the vibrant atmosphere of the marketplace. I bought three packs of socks at one of the stalls; the lady was very helpful, and the socks were both excellent quality and reasonably priced. There are some toilets here, and plenty of shops and eateries all around."
