"Built in the 1800s. Has just had a face-lift. Half the space is for local business's and have is a space to sit and relax. The toilets are brand new and always super clean."

"We took the chance to stroll through this market hall earlier in July - a Thursday. I was quite surprised to see that it was quite empty with only half the space occupied with stalls. Most, if not all of these were selling bric a brac of one kind or another. I recall the large stall selling jig saw puzzles and others selling textiles, cheap electronic goods etc. I had hoped to see some fruit and vegetable stores and the odd meat stall but no... Never mind. The old building itself is impressive and worth taking a look at."
