Parking and Accessibility

While there's a large seafront car park, motorhomes may face restrictions. The car park behind the castle is an alternative. The pier itself is generally accessible, but check specific needs if mobility is a concern.

Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Beaumaris Pier for its scenic views, crabbing opportunities, and charming seaside atmosphere. The pier's cafe and proximity to historical sites like Beaumaris Castle are also highlights. Some note that parking can be an issue for larger vehicles and the pier has a small entry fee.

"*A large (7 metres) Motorhome owner review.

Beaumaris is a beautiful coastal town to visit.
The castle is stunning but there are other attractions there to visit.
The Beaumaris Gaol is a really interesting and, in a weird way, beautiful place to visit.
There's the Court house museum to visit too, again fascinating.
The pier is a popular crabbing spot and the views across to Wales are beautiful.
There are plenty of places to eat and shop, with pubs, cafes, ice-cream parlour, many boutique shops, mini hidden garden centre, chemist and a convenience store.
The town can get extremely busy, take care on the paths and road, as folks tend to overspill onto the road (a lot without looking 🫤).
There's a huge carpark on the seafront. We normally park our motorhome there but we weren't allowed to this time (I asked why but the warden said he couldn't answer that).
We were directed up the hill to the carpark behind the castle, where there were a few spaces where large motorhomes could park. Luckily it was quiet and we had no problem in finding a space but on busier days larger motorhome parking could now be an issue (if the big carpark restriction continues)
You can get your motorhome down the main street with lots of caution and l patience, some none motorhomers don't appreciate the physics of manoeuvring such a large vehicle.

It's a lovely, lively town for all the family."

"Lovely little short pier to stroll down! People were crabbing off it in the sunny weather. Visit the shop in the RNLI station near by. Lots of boat trips commenced here on the pier, treat yourself to one to explore puffin island!"

Lois : No Cruise Control

"Great pier to gave a wander down, even on a windy day! £1 each to get on & £2 to park in the cat park right by it. For all day! Amazing views of Snowdonia, Llandudno, and the Great Orme from the end. Several little shops serving a variety of items. Fantastic little café at the end that serve a good variety of cheap snacks and drinks. It's open 365 days of the year as well! You can buy crabbing kits for the kids and there is plenty of seating to stop and pause. Thoroughly recommend."
