"Checked out this place. It was OK. Great for dogs walkers and OK for children to explore where the park offers a dog free area. Sign posts are scattered around the park that gives you information about the parks history. YOU have toilets on the premises and a quirky retro art deco cafe that offers a variety of meals and drinks. Surrounding the park by the carpark you have 2 pubs that seem to have all kinds of events on, a children's wooden adventure play area, ice cream parlour and the view of the River Mersey and Liverpool skyline from a distance where you can walk onto the jetty to have a look."

"Great place to have a walk with the doggos, families with kids.

Lovely cafe there as well."

"Went here today to do some walking, pleasant if you get there early, parking available right outide park but its a pay and display car park, there is an ice cream place, and two pubs nearby. Near the car park is also toilets. If you take the right path at the car park, there are views across the River Mersey. There are plenty of seats available to watch the planes overhead and watch the water pass by, in the area, there are different paths to take. Great scenery and much wildlife. Carry a spare pair of shoes and a plastic bag just in case shoes get messed up."
