BLACKPOOL MILL, PEMBROKESHIRE [Ad-Invite] Have you read the blog post about @blackpoolmill yet? I’m working on my post about why you should probably get to @bluestonewales this year and it got me reminiscing on the lovely birthday meal we had for my pal. The desserts were a particular highlight, but it was all good. A gorgeous setting, good produce with a local focus, and lovely staff. One for you...

Reviews Summary

Blackpool Mill is praised for its stunning historic setting and delicious, locally sourced food, particularly its afternoon tea and Sunday lunch. Visitors appreciate the beautifully restored mill machinery and the peaceful riverside grounds, making it a unique dining destination. However, some guests have found certain dishes to be small for the price, and table checks during meals could be more frequent.

"Drove past the sign for this place many times, so decided to visit Black Pool Mill, so glad I did very pretty place lovely for walking the dog.
Popped in for a snack and coffee the girls are so friendly and polite and helpful.
The food that we had was delicious, couldn't fault it. they also do breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinners ."

Jeff Trew

"Visited here 17th May 2025 on a Saturday for lunch. First impressions were very good, with the place smartly done up and the old machinery visible for visitors to see and understand how the mill worked when it was running.
We were shown to our table by a polite and helpful member of staff and seated in a comfortable room off the main dining area (party of 7). Another member of staff was shortly with us to take orders for drinks and hand out menus.
We chose to have a main course and dessert and the drinks and food arrived in good time.
The food was excellent, hot and just the right size portions. The wait in between courses was just right, giving us time to look forward to dessert. The price was reasonable for the food and all in all, a very good experience.
Will definitely be visiting here again, as we would like to try the Sunday lunch menu and maybe the evening meals or afternoon tea. Thanks for a lovely dining experience"

Ben Cook

"We visited when the Mill was closed (Monday) as we had some time to kill before checking-in to our rented cottage nearby. We took a walk along The Knights' Way, which was really lovely and stopped off to see the Blackpool Bridge before heading off. While this is not a direct review of the mill (restoration looks splendid) the immediate area is delightfully quiet and highly recommended for a leisurely stroll or dog walking."
