The car park adjacent is free, the beach promenade walk is lovely and there are plenty of cafes, chip shops ice cream vendors and restaurants for refreshments.
The whole setting is well though out and the surrounding amenities are excellent.
The museum is only open on weekends, but if you are in the area it is worth the trip."

Take some time to look it up and then visit, stroll around the gunnery emplacements and go into the museum for an inciteful look at the history of the area and the gunnery bareks."
