Derwentwater Circular📍 A nice, long, flat walk starting and finishing in Keswick (my favourite town in the Lake District). Reviews Summary

Visitors appreciate the Bowness-on-Solway pavilion as a scenic marker for the start or end of the Hadrian's Wall Path, offering lovely views towards Scotland. However, some are disappointed by the lack of visible wall remains and limited open amenities.

"Finally finished and got are 7th and final stamp for are, Hadrian's wall path passport. (1st if you're starting this way)
The stamping block wasn't here when we arrived, you have to go to the kings Arms inn, to get your final stamp.
The western end of Hadrian's Wall is a notable tourist destination, though the Wall itself is no longer to be seen here above ground. The west end of the Hadrian's Wall Path is marked by a pavilion on the small coastal cliff at Bowness. The village is part of the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty."

Pete / Hel

"This is the place where most people either start or finish their Hadrian Wall Hike. At high tide the sea water can come up close to and over the roads, and there are signs that warn of this possibility. The small gazebo has a box that contains the stamp for the Hadrian Wall Passport (or any other book your are using to mark your journey along the trail). This site is accessed from two small paths that connect to the main road in the Village."

Mychael Kostiuk

"Beautiful little pavilion to mark the beginning/end of the Hadrian’s wall. Very well maintained with stunning views over to the Scottish side."
