"Took my youngest 2 kids ages 5 and 7 to their Easter Forest School and they both loved it. Lots of activities to do and explore areas. Den building, mud kitchen, digging area, swing and fire pit where they got to toast some hot cross buns! Finished off with nettle tea too.
The Country Park is amazing too. Huge playground with a long zip line, sand pit, fun things to climb on and explore also. Great day out for sure. There’s also a cafe but we didn’t try it as we had a picnic. Ample parking and only £3.50 for the day. Well worth a visit."

"We love Fermyn woods, great for dog walks and various trails of different lengths/durations. Variety of play areas and equipment to suit all ages.
Just wish the lovely cafe stayed open slightly later - especially in the summer!"
Laura Parkes
"A lovely Country Park. Flat rate parking of £3.50 for 12 hours, payable by cash, card or app. Overflow car park shuts earlier than the main car park, so be sure to check! Lots of great play equipment across a long area, three marked short trails through the woods (with benches periodically), clean toilets and a lovely cafe (with very welcome ice lollies on a hot day)."
