Here's last weekends adventures in the campervan and all the beautiful Welsh landscapes and wildlife we came across. We first started in Dolgellau and did the Torrent Walk by the Afon Clywedog River. We then went to Dolgellau and sampled a few local pubs, and stayed in a car park for campervans for the night. We then headed down the road to do the Tal-y-llyn Lake walk, then went onto the Dyfi Ospr...

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Torrent Walk's magical, ancient woodland and the powerful, beautiful cascades of the Afon Clywedog River. Many describe it as a fairy glen or a scene from a fantasy film, offering a truly immersive natural experience. While the terrain is uneven and requires sturdy footwear, the short, rewarding loop is considered a hidden gem in Snowdonia.

"What a beautiful walk through oak and beech woods, listening to the river as it torrents deep in the gorge.
Parking is a layby right next to the entrance. There are two access gates: the one nearest the layby can be steep and very uneven (not for those with limited mobility or pushchairs); the other is a more developed path with steps in places. I came back up this one.
Both paths give great places to take photos and videos. The sound is phenomenal.
Suitable for dogs but might want to keep them on leads at various points, for safety."

Claire

"Lovely walk, uneven surface so make sure you have some good foot wear. We kept our dog on lead as there is quite a drop to the water below. Worth a visit"

Rowland Family

"A beautiful walk. We parked in the lay-by then walked down to the lane. Over the bridge and back up. Certainly gets the blood pumping 🤣"
