"We found this after googling what to do in Swanage on a rainy day. Absolutely brilliant experience and my advice would be not to just use it only for a rainy day! Views from the location are stunning, greated with such warmth and friendliness. The stone carving session was incredible, really supportive, knowledgeable and friendly guidance all the way through. Never done anything like this before and can't believe we achieved what we did in just 2 hours and the time flew by. Thank you"

"What an amazing venue!! I recently spent a lovely afternoon here on a fantastic "Purbeck Poetry" workshop led by Sarah Acton, with the view from the Burngate Stone Centre across the fields to Swanage and the sea for inspiration. What's not to like?"

"If you are feeling creative, then this is a great way to spend the day. There was a group of 6 people on the course The instruction was excellent and after a morning trying various exercises and techniques, the afternoon was spent on our own creative designs. Wow did that afternoon go by fast. Totally engaging and hard to down tools at the end. Plenty of tea and coffee was supplied. (Bring a packed lunch). I really fancy another go"
