"I have done quite a lot of adult weekenders and this is the first time I have done it with the food package .
I should start by saying that it's a great deal, but there is a but , the food at best is average and it's a shame because it could be so much better with small changes.
1. Turn on the hot plates, why does the food always have to be so cold.
2. Bacon and sausage needs to be cooked, if it's pink it's not cooked, this is a simple issue to resolve a give it an extra 10 minutes and it would make all the difference.
So with two small changes it could be easily raised to good.
The other issue is the standard of acts this year was very poor compared to other years, I have included a video example that shows the quality of this year's acts.
So the entertainment this year was poor and the food was at best average so would I recommend an adult weekenders.
The answer is yes and I would even recommend the food package as its still a lot of fun and we all had an excellent time regardless of the two issues mentioned.
Simply put it's a great way of unwinding and it's great to go somewhere where you have entertainment and food all in one.
I should add I recommend spending more on the accomodation as the basic accomodation is pretty dated and basic and feels like being in a sardine tin."

"Bootleg ball adult weekender,it was alright. Comfort apartment was ok for adult weekends,but if I were to bring my family for a family break I would definitely stay at a comfort plus or Westlake chalet. Premium food package was a good positive, definitely worth getting. The entertainment I found was hit and miss personally for bootleg,all enjoyable though.
Overall it was ok but I wouldn't be in a rush to go again,no sour grapes...,it's just I'm a middle aged man with 2 young kids now who doesn't go on all day benders anymore lol.

"We generally had a brilliant time here. Whilst the venue is in need of updating, painting and cleaning it's been brilliant for the kids who don't REALLY notice.
Butlins have provided security on site for safety. Lots of performances, places to eat and things to do.
A massive well done to Red coat Ollie and his team, outstanding. And Paul in the Yatcht club restaurant.

Venue requires updating and cleaning.
Apartments where reasonable and whilst not 5 star they did not come at high cost.
Performances: Generally great for being free. Impressed with Justin Fletcher & Mythical creatures.
Must haves:
Premium food package - Food choice was brilliant and catered well for vegetarians. Choices from gammon to lasagne & fish and desserts from crumble to cakes. Breakfast was brilliant and really help keeping the costs down.
VIP passes: This is a must as it saves queuing time but it is expensive. It certainly helped us bag top seating with tables which is very handy with kids."
