"This is a lovely spot for a relaxing break, especially if you're interested in a bit of history. The restored station buildings and signal box are well-maintained and charming. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the cafe - the bacon sandwiches are particularly noteworthy! They also have plenty of outdoor seating if you prefer a picnic lunch.
For families, there's a great play area to keep the little ones entertained. We didn't have time to explore the miniature railway or riverside walk this visit, but they're definitely reasons to come back.
We tried several times and every time has different experience."

"Stopped here on the way past and was pleasantly surprised. Great little cafe, zip line , small park & a converted train carriage that shows the history of the line. Easy access to a nice walk along the river bank. Parking was £2.20 for a few hours but everything else was free. If your in the area definitely worth stopping there."
