What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bennetts Water Gardens is widely praised as a beautiful, idyllic, and relaxing hidden gem, particularly loved for its stunning water lily displays and abundant wildlife. Visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, numerous seating areas, and the on-site cafe. Some note limited picnic facilities and occasional plant handling issues, but overall, it's considered a worthwhile and serene escape.
"Beautiful idyllic place with many kinds of water lilies and other plants. Visiting and admiring takes about an hour, although it is worth booking a little longer. There is a cafe and toilets on site. There are several gazebos where you can sit, a few small benches around the ponds, as well as a picnic area with a game of checkers. The picnic area is small (two tables). A nice place for a family or friendly walk. A wonderful place for artists, painter's to catch their inspiration. Dogs are not allowed in the gardens. In June, there were lots of lilies, a heron, small and large swans and ducks, and lots of dragonflies. The price list can be found on the website. Group entries should be booked in advance. The car park has about 20 free spaces, spaces for disabled people are located closer to the entrance. I recommend it."
