"Atmospheric ruins of a gunpowder mill built around the Tillingbourne stream, set within peaceful woodland. Following the waterway you'll pass the remains of the boiler house and Victorian steam mills, expense magazine, wharf and a row of millstones.
There are information boards at intervals along the trail, and free leaflets with a map of the walk. Following the whole route takes a couple of hours, with lots to see on the way. From here there's a great circular walk to St Martha's Hill via Albury and Silent Pool that takes a good few hours to complete.
There's only space for a couple of cars at the start of the trail by Lockner Farm Lane, but it's not too long a walk from the village. After rain the paths can be very muddy so bring robust footwear."

"Worth a visit, some parts of the historical mill are still standing. Great for dog walking although prepare to get muddy during the wet months!!! Nice little stream for kids to paddle in with wellies. There's a few picnic tables too."
