What times/occasions does the squinty bridge light up?
Went for a night walk by the Clyde recently, inspired by the pictures I've seen here. Although it was very picturesque, the crème de la crème, the Squinty bridge, was not lit up. Multiple google searches have failed me; does anyone know a good time to go see it in its neon pink…

Which genius decided to close half the Clyde Arc Bridge for buses?
Such a stupid decision. There is so much congestion there now because 2 of the lanes are bus lanes. At most 2 buses pass there per hour. Is this done to encourage people to get the bus? Why would I get the bus when its going no where near where I need to go.
Does anybody else hate driving on Govan Road near the BBC studio?
What were they smoking when they planned this out? This has to be the most anxiety inducing road I’ve ever drove on. No idea if I’m driving on the wrong side of the road, a bus lane or what. It’s laughably overly complicated, reckon when they designed it they just wanted to…

Will I get a fine?
Accidentally went in to the bus + taxi lane going over the squinty bridge coming from Govan Road heading back towards the M8 eastbound after picking 3 very pissed and distracting mates up from the Hydro. Done it completely unintentionally, dark, never been there before, badly…

"I have been across the Squinty Bridge many times and I have to ask, is there a problem? I have never seen all lanes open, it's a dual carriageway but the western side of the road is always closed. The Squinty Bridge represents the face of modernisation of the city in what used one of the dock areas of the River Clyde now changed to tourist attractions and yuppie flats. Maybe that's why the bridge remains only partially open, as a symbol for a city with such a rich industrial heritage to change to a leaner base."
