The modern, stylish setting with beautiful river views, along with special experiences like the whisky and chocolate tasting and the 'fill your own bottle' option, are frequently highlighted as memorable aspects. "We had a wonderful time doing the chocolate and whisky tasting tour on our anniversary. We had 5 different whiskey paired with 5 different flavors of chocolate made locally. We got to enjoy a private tasting room since it was just me and my husband. The view from the tasting room was amazing. I couldn’t ask for a better experience for our first day in Scotland."

"I would add this distillery to everyone's itinerary whilst visiting Glasgow, it's great! Such a great location and the 1 hour distillery tour we booked was class. The distillery is very small but it's so nice inside, stylish and with beautiful views of the river. The whisky tasting included 3 drams from different casks, very good, and we were allowed to keep the glass as a souvenir which was a lovely touch. The distillery is quite new, it started production only in 2017, so the history of the place is more to do with the shipping docks and the pumphouse which has become the home of the distillery."

"A must see in Glasgow!!! Austin was our guide and he was exceptional, very funny and brought the Glasgow humour to the tour. Full of knowledge on the distillery and its wider connections to the area. Fantastic value for money too coming away with plenty of samples of the whisky and an adorable glass too! For couples, girls getaways and even stags it is a great afternoon activity."

For younger visitors, the 'designated driver' option where drivers can take their drams home in miniature jars is a thoughtful touch. If you're considering the whisky and chocolate tasting, it might be possible to arrange for non-alcoholic alternatives or focus on the chocolate aspect for younger family members, though it's best to confirm this directly with the distillery when booking. The 'fill your own bottle' experience could also be a fun, interactive element for older teens.
💑 Couples
The distillery's stylish ambiance, coupled with the opportunity to learn about whisky making and sample fine spirits, creates a memorable shared activity. The complimentary souvenir glass from many tours also serves as a lovely memento of your time together.
💰 Budget Travelers
Look out for special offers or discounts, and remember that the included souvenir glass is a fantastic way to get a lasting memento without extra cost. The 'fill your own bottle' option, while an investment, can be a more cost-effective way to acquire a unique bottle compared to some other high-end distilleries.
