"We went to see a play there. It's a fantastic venue for fringe theatre. perhaps could do with cleaner washing facilities."

"The Orthodox Christian community in Colchester (Greeks, Cypriots, Romanians, etc) recently managed to buy St Martin's church through individual donations, and all gather together on Sundays (among other days too) to take part in the liturgy. The choir is made up of lovely volunteers from the community. They're a very welcoming bunch and on Sundays after the liturgy, they also offer drinks and snacks :)
This community also looks after the smaller Orthodox chapel of St Helen's in Colchester.
Any donations to renovate the recently bought church of St Martin's are welcome! 🙏"
