"A small gallery dedicated to the works and story of local artist Stanley Spencer. It features the unfinished 5m wide painting “Christ Preaching at Cookham Regatta” and many smaller paintings- mainly of the Cookham area but also some portraits and self portraits. We tried to watch the video (small screen with individual headphones and barcode scanner to start)- but it was very slow and the sound didn’t work😔There were lots of informative posters scattered between the paintings that gave enough of a back story to the artist and the art works anyway!"
