What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for the Corn Hall are mixed, with many praising the vibrant craft markets and unique handmade items, especially on Saturdays. However, some visitors have expressed disappointment with the quality and pricing of certain stalls, particularly on non-craft market days. The venue is also recognized for hosting enjoyable live entertainment and pantomimes.
"What a lovely Artist I met on Saturday, Artist Nellie Hearn fantastic work, so passionate I purchased three items. Will be back for more.
Some wonderful hand crafted items to include Jewelry from Hope. Although can’t quite understand why an AI artist artwork was included in a craft market. The Wilde ones ?? Is that craft . No sad really.
I revisited Monday before I returned home and purchased another Nellie Hearn piece and was shocked at the quality of the market. A load of tat piled high and cheap 99p shop stuff especially in the centra How does a craft market change in 48 hours ?
Best wishes Bobbie S"

"A collection of mostly wrinkley people selling overpriced tat which should've stayed collecting dust in the attic, where it belongs. Reminded me of my youth when the "rag and bone man" would wander the streets with his horse and cart yelling, "Any old rags, any old bones?!" He paid children with balloons, a currency more fitting in the Corn Hall, methinks. If ya wanna spend a day pointing 👉 and laughing 😃 this is the place to go."

"As a regular Trader at the Saturday Indoor Craft Market I can categorically say that the feedback I get from customers is that the Corn Hall Indoor market is a wonderful place to shop for quality handmade products on a Saturday and a whole a range of other quality products including art, ceramics and jewellery from Sunday - Thursday. The previous review was obviously about the Friday Antiques market which is indeed full of nik naks and collectibles probably found in people’s attics and appeals to collectors and enthusiasts who enjoy rummaging for a piece of treasure. The comments made do not reflect the markets held on other days of the week. As small businesses it’s important that we are supported and valued by the general public. Cirencester is a vibrant town with so much to offer visitors including experiencing the Corn Hall markets and the Diversitea cafe."
