What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Crown Lakes Country Park is a beloved local spot for dog walking and enjoying nature, praised for its diverse wildlife and peaceful lakeside paths. However, some visitors note issues with trail maintenance and dog waste, suggesting improvements are needed for a consistently pleasant experience.
"Lovely place to walk the dog. There is a variety of nature to be seen and heard. Sometimes I hear a cuckoo in the trees. I have also seen muntjac, red kites or Buzzards and a fox. The path around the lake can get extremely muddy during winter so would recommend wellies. My dog enjoys going for a swim in the lake and is always tired when she gets home."

"Very nice place, good walk I did on my way home to Lincolnshire from Stratford upon Avon. However, it was ruined by some horrible women shouting constantly at their dogs to come back, one even hit her Staffy with the lead when she finally recalled, who then yelped! I wish I could report her, but my description would be so vague, as I was more worried about the safety of my own dog being a very small Jack Russell x.
However a very nice place we managed to go all the way round both lakes, took around an hour. Lucky people who have this on their doorstep!"

"I'm fortunate in that Crown Lakes Park is only a 5 minute walk from my house. I've wandered its miles of paths, around lakes, through copses, over bridges, across wide green swards in all weathers and at many different times of day. It's a great place to get away from the travails of the day and to sit and watch the birds and wildlife doing their thing around you. There's parking available right at the entrance for those who have to come a little further."
