What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cumbernauld House Park is widely praised as a beautiful, expansive recreational space perfect for picnics, dog walking, and family fun. Visitors appreciate the large open fields and the scenic woodland trails. However, some have noted issues with littering and the condition of information boards.
"This area is also known as Cumbernauld Fields. Huge bit of grass perfect for picnics and kids to run about. Great for sledging in the snow as well.
If you just fancy chilling, you can just throw down a blanket and relax.
Plenty of parking in the streets around it.
Nice area for walking your dog too. Just remember to pick up after them so kids and families can make the most of the area 😊"

"Large area of open grass that sits between housing scheme and Cumbernauld Glen (river and walking trails). Path around outside of grass is tarmac but is rough in places where tree roots are breaking it or pushing it up. Fabulous views of hills beyond, odd benches placed around grass area looking in House direction. Some grass is boggy but when we went there were a few people enjoying walking their dogs around the grass. There is also a car park near by at start of Glen/House walks that is sign posted but has holes/puddles in it. The only real negative point is that the information boards about the house, walking trails and area around the Glen and House walks have been vandalised so hard to read"
