"Traveling by narrow boat from Tamworth and through the flight of locks at Curdworth. We started just behind another boat, but they were helpful and friendly and started emptying each lock behind us so we made good progress through locks 11-4. Then they got stuck trying to get in lock 2 and we had to help them pull the boat into the lock with the ropes and they pushed with the pole. Unfortunately we also got stuck entering the same lock so they helped us with the pushing and pulling routine. So it took over 3 hours to get the 3 miles from lock 11 to a mooring past the top lock. CRT need to dredge lock 2 and clear the bottom gate."
