"This was the 1st time I've visited this country park so that's why I've given it a 4 than a 5 as I only saw a snippet. I went for a picnic with a friend and I loved what I saw. Very peaceful, green, relaxing. It was a hive of activity from wildlife- birds, bees and butterflies. I will certainly be going back to continue the exploration. Ample facilities which were clean and a decent sized car park too. The app to pay for parking was easy to use and I thought a reasonable price for the time there. There was also an activity trail for children which looked fun! And dogs welcomed too. Perfect day out for anyone looking to relax and be with nature."

"Nice park with lakes, you can see the fairly large fish swimming under the surface. Great woodland paths, not too busy and a great place to walk dogs. Public toilets, drinking water point to full up your bottles, with a downpipe feeding water to a bowl for the dogs (Amazing!) Some massive trees that easily look a couple of centuries old."

"We enjoyed a great day out with the dogs and had a lovely picnic too. The dogs enjoyed being let off at certain points but we were a little cautious to allow free roam in all areas due to deep ponds unprotected areas. All in all we enjoyed our experience and would return with the dogs again. Such a shame theres a charge for parking, but that's standard these days."
