This has to be one of the most underrated fairytale towns in the UK! This is Shrewsbury, a medieval Tudor town situated in the county of Shropshire. Forget about York, if you love wandering around old historic towns then you need to visit Shrewsbury ♥️ #ukhiddengems #uktravel #uktravelspots #shrewsbury #shropshire #englishcountryside #visitengland

Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Dingle County Kerry for its breathtaking natural beauty, particularly the Slea Head Drive, and the vibrant charm of Dingle town. The quality of local seafood and the lively pub scene are frequently highlighted as major draws. While the weather can be unpredictable, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many calling it a must-visit destination.

"The Dingle is a stunning sunken garden right in the middle of The Quarry park — peaceful, colourful, and beautifully maintained. Designed by Percy Thrower, it’s full of vibrant flowerbeds, fountains, and shady spots to sit and unwind. Great place just steps from the town centre. Perfect for a quiet walk, photos, or simply escaping into nature for a while."

Przemyslaw Kowalski

"Stunning ! We visited on a beautiful sunny day 6.8. My wife and I had a stroll around, we had our 2 dogs on leads ( no restrictions). The gardens drop down a little so you feel as if you’re in an oasis. It is kept immaculate, praise needs to go to the gardeners. There’s a bust of the famous Percy Thrower who used to be head gardener. There’s a plenty of benches to sit down. It’s not a huge place that you’d get tired walking around, it’s just the the size. A lovely lake, an ornamental pond area at one end. Oh how I envy the locals having this place to relax in. It’s by far the very best garden we’ve ever seen and we’ve seen quite a few. Well done The Dingle and everyone who works so hard to get it to this superb standard."

Ian M

"Absolutely stunning and immaculate garden within the Quarry Park. Beautifully arranged with some fabulous plants and the centrepiece lake comprising of 2 lovely fountains. Every town should have a space like this, and a massive well done 👏 to everyone involved in keeping it so pristine."
