"Another nice Fenland church.
This one was shut on all of my visits. But I was ably to get a key and have a look around.
Feels a tad run down. But is very atmospheric. It was raining heavily on my most recent visit, which was actually rather lovely; sound of rain on the roof.
The key I borrowed gave access to the north door, not the south door, in the main porch. Which is a bit unusual.
Inside there’s some (a little) very nice stained-glass, and an interesting sculpted mausoleum. There are some ‘Fenny-angels’ in the roof. Whilst not a church to totally blow you away, it’s well worth checking out."
