"I spent a very enjoyable afternoon at RSPB Fowlmere, friends had told me about it previously.
Very impressed with numerous trails, a picnic area, toilet facilities and a small visitor centre. I particularly liked the various hides around the reserve, for viewing / photographing the wildlife.
I saw Marsh Harriers, water rail, juvenile Moorhens, long tailed tit's and heard many more. In the river (Shep) I saw brown trout and crayfish.
Definitely worth a visit for a peaceful and tranquil experience."
