Reviews Summary

The Glastonbury Market Cross is a beloved historic landmark and a vibrant community hub, praised for its central location and the lively events it hosts. While some visitors appreciate the surrounding shops and cafes, a few note a lack of information about the cross itself and occasional issues with loitering.

"Lovely old structure. Lots of coffee shops around this square too"

Chris Gledhill

"Beautiful structure but zero information on it or around it, lots of people loiter on or around it and in general doesn’t come across very friendly. Some nice events are held in the space next to it tho and when there’s fewer people around it it’s nice to watch. Give us some information on it tho please. I had originally thought it was part of the structures that are dotted around the country and one is sat by Charing Cross station in London, but I’m not sure."

Caïna Verrin

"Meeting point for various community events.
Quite busy on bank holidays and festivals."
