Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Mallyan Spout Waterfall for its stunning natural beauty and the rewarding hike to reach it. The picturesque setting and the impressive cascade are major draws. However, many note that the trail's steep and rocky nature makes it less suitable for young children or those with mobility concerns, and the walk back up can be strenuous.

"Beautiful waterfall. Unfortunately I would say it’s not suitable for young children or anyone with mobility issues as a lot of rocks to climb over and a very big hill back up to the top.

It took us around an hour and a half. But we went a good bit on past the waterfall you could do it in shorter time. There is a bar/cafe back at the carpark which is nice to stop off for a well deserved drink at the top."

Niamh Mc Elhinney

"Just wonderful such a beautiful place to be. The walk down to it and the clambering over rocks is not for most unhealthy or disabled and the walk back up to the top is not for those with mobility, breathing or heart issues, thankfully there is a beautiful tea room at the top!! lovely cake.
It was well worth the effort though and the dogs loved it too"

Antony Halliday

"Beautiful waterfall, amazing walk. It's a bit difficult with little kids. My husband needed to carry our 4 year old most of the walk. But the views were definitely worth it ❤️"
