As I was visiting to do some family history research I spent most of my day in a small quiet archive room with a volunteer, but I did get a look around the museum once finished. There is a lot to see, all housed in a building that seems to ooze history from its beams. Lots to see so make sure you have lots of time to look around. The museum is staffed by volunteers so check opening times before visiting and email/call if you need any information or advice before going."
