"A short trip across the Thames from Ham House, but thoroughly enjoyable on a dry, sunny day. Only £2 for adults. Useful if you want to get to Marble Hill without driving from Ham House."

"Really reasonable prices 2£ for adults and 1£ for children can also use with bike and with pets also a little nice ferry carries you every two minutes from one side to another kind employees and boat driver. Can also hire boats from the ham side of the river for 8£"
Omer Ygt
"Loved it. What better way to 'hit the Thames' quickly and affordable!
This friendly, family run (since 1908), small ferry is a delight... running from Twickenham across to within a few hundred yards of Ham House, a NT property (house and gardens) in Richmond.
Lovely views of the river and surrounding area.
Top tip if you plan to visit by car - the bottom half of Orleans Rd is free to park after 1630 weekdays (didn't note weekends, sorry). NB it is quite narrow due to resident parking further up."
