Spurriers House Café is a lovely spot for a coffee or ice cream, and the nearby Greyhound pub adds a cozy vibe for a quick pint. The park’s five unique gardens, like the sensory garden with its fragrant shrubs, are a treat for nature lovers. With well-maintained paths, ample benches, and clean toilets, it’s super accessible and welcoming. "Thank you to everyone who maintains this beautiful park. I'm now doing yoga there in a quiet spot, with a superb view/surroundings.
It's a shame that the skate park has been vandalised somewhat....it would be great to add new benches, a water dispenser and toilets there....but could we trust that they would be respected and not ruined be people who selfishly and stupidly spoil things...need I mention the beloved bandstand?
It's good to see the park used by so many...and yet still some quiet corners for yoga!
The cafe is great too."
