Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the stunning panoramic views from Haytor Rocks and the informative visitor centre. The free parking after 6 PM and the availability of free toilets are appreciated. However, the lack of refreshments at the visitor centre and the parking fees during the day are common points of concern.

"We arrived hangry and tired having driven round in circles down tight country lanes and even tighter villages. We only looked from a distance for a couple of minutes as we had designated about half an hour to walk to the rocks, only to find that parking rates started at £4.30, admittedly for four hours, which at the time seemed a rip off. We will visit next time we are there, forewarned is forearmed."

Muzz Artery

"Car park and loos with an uphill walk to a sensational view. Lots of walk options so can be a short 15 to 20 minutes each way or a much longer one. Just remember the weather can change quickly so be prepared. We picked a glorious sunny but breezy day"

Matthew W

"What a view
Glad it had toilets (free)
Parking is free after 6pm
Some horses wandering around"
