"Meet here for drinks with my brother on occasion. Its recently had a refit and spruce up. Looks friendly and welcoming. Good selection of beers and beverages on offer. Never tried the food as we only meet for drinks but have friends who live locally that say the food is good. Atmosphere is good - met on a Saturday evening and there were tables available to sit at for drinks. One minor incident did kick off around the slot machine - but the chap was very drunk and the police, and bar staff, calmed it down. Otherwise good evening."

"Eleven of us had a family meal at The Hemlock Stone. We were in a quiet area with room for a pushchair and older kids to move around without bothering other customers.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food came out fast which is impressive with a large group. Incredible meals from a brilliant pub menu (for kids and adults).
We will be visiting again!!
