Reviews Summary

Skegness Beach Central is praised for its vast, clean sandy shores and accessible promenade, making it ideal for long walks and family fun. However, some visitors note concerns about litter and the upkeep of certain areas, alongside unpredictable weather and limited parking. The presence of a charity offering free beach-adapted wheelchairs is a significant positive for accessibility.

"This is a stunning, wide beach that stretches for miles — perfect for long walks, enjoying the fresh sea air, and taking in the natural beauty. It’s very clean and popular with both visitors and dog walkers, yet it somehow never feels crowded, even during peak times and in good weather.

There’s a ramp leading up to the beach, but unfortunately, the beach itself doesn’t have built-in wheelchair accessibility. That said, just off the promenade, there’s a small stall run by a charity that offers beach-adapted wheelchairs and equipment for free, designed to support people with different physical abilities. It’s a fantastic service, although in not sure on opening times.

One of the highlights is the concrete (a bit sandy at places) promenade which runs on the back of the beach all along, which you can follow all the way to Skegness, and the other way past ingoldmells — a flat, scenic route I highly recommend. Whether you’re after peace and quiet, a dog-friendly stroll, or just a clean, spacious spot to relax, this beach really delivers."

"Lovely beach close to the arcades. Also the home to beach ability charity which hosts free beach friendly wheelchairs for easy accessibility.
Just be careful of all the dog crap irresponsible lazy owners have left on the sand. Saw multiple on our visit"
