"I hadn’t visited Skegness for around 20 years and it’s mostly as I remembered it, I’d say cleaner this time around and some of the stores and arcades have improved.
I didn’t realise the Jolly Fisherman is actually a mascot of Skegness and the poster created by artist John Hassall in 1908 is associated with the original success of this seaside town.
Parking is fairly limited, blue badge holders still have to pay but can stay double the time they pay for.
Toilets are 20p in most places unless you are a customer, they still have donkey rides on the beach but after a visit to the donkey sanctuary I question why it’s still permitted"

"Lovely seaside town, something for everyone, beautiful beaches, amusements on both sides of the main stretch, a big theme park, buses going to and from Ingoldmells are very frequent offering a family saver for £12.50 to use the buses all day. There are plenty of car parks for day, weekend visits, plenty of food outlets up and down the stretch of the front."
