What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ipswich Market on The Cornhill is praised for its vibrant atmosphere, diverse stalls, and excellent value, particularly for fresh produce. While most vendors are friendly and offer quality goods, one reviewer noted a negative customer service experience at a fruit and veg stall. Overall, it's a popular spot for shopping local and finding unique items.
"I have never been so disappointed in the service I received at the fruit & Veg stall today, all I did was to tip the contents of the bowls into my basket, one of the workers told me not to do it, rather I should take a 2nd basket, I asked him how am I suppose to carry the 2 baskets which was already full and I wanted to buy more stuff, I was carrying my other shopping. He could have offered to help me instead, thats how I remember customer service. I carried on with my shopping holding on to the bowls. When I got to the paying part, I received yet another angry face telling me, how is he suppose to pack all of that, its easier in the bowl. When I asked is this how you treat customer is these days, then he replied if you dont want to buy just leave and he took my stuff aside and started serving the next customer. Im so emotional as I'm writing this review, as I've encountered such distain and the way he looked at me. This is how this has gotten to,that they dont care about how they treat their paying customers 😒"
