What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Jacksons Bay Beach is lauded as a beautiful, secluded cove perfect for swimmers and dog owners, offering a more peaceful experience than the main Barry Island beach. While some find the sea murky and the mud at low tide off-putting, many appreciate the clean facilities and the stunning views from the cliffside paths.
"Beautiful little beach! Perfect for swimmers. Dogs allowed too. In the mornings you only get a tiny slither of sand, just enough though to park your things before swimming. Later in the day however when the tide is out the beach is huge more than enough room for all the little ones to run around and play. It can get quite packed. Handy toilets and shower at the entrance also. Perfect!"

"What a beautiful secluded part of Barry.
Less busier than the main Barry Island Beach where dogs are allowed to enjoy their time with family too."
MAXINE BUTLER
"Quiet space especially during the week, however the sea is not enjoyable. It’s very murky and as the tide goes out it’s all mud so you sink. Wouldn’t recommend unless you just want to enjoy the sand"
