"We had a lovely walk along the beach. We parked in the far car park (National Trust) which you pay by app and it was £5 for yhe while day (regardless of which it is). The tide was out and it was a hot sunny August day, perfect for the a walk with my two little granddaughters (3 and 6). We walked along the beach to the car park with a bus stop and ice cream kiosk. We ate are picnic and them bought a lovely ice cream and walked back along the beach to build. Sandcastles."

Not sure about all these apps, it frustrates us because it really inhibits older people who also want to enjoy these locations but perhaps can’t use smart phones in the same way as younger visitors. We are only in our 40s and we couldn’t get the app to work 🤪
Despite this….we would highly recommend a visit here. Pack your rucksack & enjoy a good hike, plenty of space to explore and enjoy wonderful views. Grassy tracks, benches, coves. Plethora of wildlife, get for twitchers…we loved hearing the skylarks. The ice cream 🍦 van was a welcome relief on a warm day…£3 & was deeee…lish!"
