"Coombe Valley View is a fantastic lodge offering superb accommodation, prepared to a very high standard. The attentive owners renovated the property shortly before our first stay in 2022 and the quality of the finish, fixtures and fittings demonstrates their attention to detail.
Having rented holiday properties in the UK for around 20 years, we have returned to the same area the following year in the past, but Coombe Valley View is the first time we have ever returned to the same property for a second stay, testament to the superb quality, location and amenities this property offers!
Prior to our second stay, we wondered how the lodge would compare to the year before having had a full 12 months’ use. However, there was no need to think about it, the lodge was every bit as well prepared as it was the year before! In fact, the owners hadn’t sat on their laurels, they had clearly made further improvements and tweaks to enhance their offering further. They have thought of everything inside and out. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need for your stay and the storage shed outside even has beach equipment for the kids.
A superb property, location, stunning views of the valley and distant sea, coupled with easy reach of convenience shops, pub, takeaways and of course a swimming pool on the park, access to which is included in the rental. All of this provided by very attentive property owners who really care about the property and service they offer to ensure you have the best possible stay. A winning combination and highly recommended!!"

We recommend a day trip to Port Issac (Doc Martin fishing village), only 30 minutes away. We enjoyed a cream tea in The Old Schoolhouse, which was beautiful and very reasonably priced too!
We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed some sunshine on the garden terrace with spectacular views!
We truly had a memorable stay and would love to go back another time.

"The recently renovated Coombe Valley View No. 2 lodge is modern, clean, comfy and cosy! The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathroom has a large shower, both bedrooms have very comfy beds. The 'smart' TV is big and capable of viewing Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. The location is excellent as a base for travelling around Cornwall and Devon. The sunsets from the rear of the lodge are really something amazing to see. We could not have wished for nicer accommodation. We would definitely stay there again."
